Curriculum

One size does not fit all when it comes to children or learning. At VIDYAARAMBH, we know children learn differently and at different paces. Our personalized approach to learning is built on this understanding. We offer research-based strategies in our unique curriculum that introduces children to many different learning experiences. Learning and playtime go hand-in-hand, so children grow a love for learning as their play is meaningful.

Literacy Rich

At VIDYAARAMBH, we take a fun and engaging approach to teaching children about the relationship between letters and sounds to develop their reading fluency. The environment in our classrooms will introduce children to literacy skills such as letter identification, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary in an intentional and integrated way. These skills serve as the foundation upon which the child will learn to read, write, listen, and speak.

Math

In our curriculum, children are taught math using the CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) method. This approach contributes to the development of a deep and comprehensive understanding of mathematics. Through an easy-to-understand process, children learn not only "how" to do the math but also "why."

Social-Emotional Learning

At VIDYAARAMBH, social-emotional health is prioritized, which is why we have integrated practices around the school that reflect this. The first step is to build safe relationships with children. By doing so, we can teach them techniques on how to identify their feelings and self-regulate. As a result, they gain a better understanding of others and can make a difference in the world.

Movement

Play is one of the most significant ways that young children learn, develop, and grow. It facilitates their motor skill development and also boosts their confidence and abilities. Movement is the key to their overall health and well-being. Therefore, our students participate in organized physical activities and unstructured play to develop their small and large muscle groups, coordination, listening skills, teamwork, and self-esteem.

Health & Hygiene

Students will learn how to be responsible for their basic personal hygiene at VIDYAARAMBH, including brushing their teeth, washing their hands, going to the bathroom, and getting dressed. It will be fueled by a direct and honest dialogue among the teachers, students, and families. Parents will also be advised on how to help their children maintain healthy habits at home.
